Remembering Lyndon is a compilation of columns by Harriet Fisher a fourth generation Lyndon native. These columns first appeared in local newspapers The Caledonian-Record and The Lyndon Independent in the 1960’s and continued until Harriet’s death. These articles take us back to the Fourth of July Celebration in 1883, the afternoon in 1912 when Theodore Roosevelt passed through town, and evenings spent at the Sunset Ballroom dancing to H. Guy Dunbar and his band. Each article is accompanied by pictures of the places and people who make up the rich history of this small town.
